Biography

Hamm has earned a reputation as a 15-year-old girl when she was the youngest member in the history of the national football team. Hamm’s team won the 1991 and 1999 World Cup and won gold medals at the Atlanta 1996 Olympics and 1998 Goodwill Games. After helping the team win the gold medal in the 2004 Summer Olympic, taking place in Greece, Hamm retired.

After 17 years of playing for the team, Hamm is considered the best female football player in history. The female football player has won countless noble titles. Hamm was awarded the FIFA World Football Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002. In 2004, Hamm and his colleague Michelle Akers were voted into the list of 125 of the world’s most outstanding players of FIFA. This list included only two female players they both were two American players.
